Confirmed from Canyon View Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park with a pond for fishing plus picnic areas and playgrounds.

Canyon View Park is such a hidden gem! I stopped by to relax and read, and it was absolutely perfect. The park sits beside a peaceful little pond surrounded by tall trees and greenery, making it feel tucked away and serene, even though it’s just off Powerhouse Road.
This is a big, beautiful park! Great place to go for a walk on the paved trails, have a party under a pavilion, fish in the cute pond, or just hang out in the field!!
There's so much to do here from playing in the ponds, feeding the ducks, to playing on the playground or starting the SF river trail. My family loves this park....highly recommended.
This park is one of our favorites! During December we love to attend the Spanish fork light festival hosted here! In the summer it’s so fun to come and let the kids play on the playground and run around as the park is huge with a nice walking trail! There’s also a pretty pond that people like to fish in!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
