Confirmed from Ben Geren Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wide-ranging park with a disc golf course, a mountain biking trail, a playground & other features.
What runners say about Ben Geren Regional Park
“The softball fields are very clean and safe for small children.”
The disc golf course is really run, got some long holes with fun challenges. I dont bike but I run the mountain bike trails, the scenery is great and you have a lot of options of various difficulties. The fitness trail is great too.
This park has an extensive network of paved multi-use trails that traverse varying terrain and scenery. It really is a beautiful area for biking/walking/running. There is also a lengthy mountain bike trail winding throughout the park complete with a few features to add even more fun.
It's a good size of park. We only went to the kids park and the hiking area. It also has sand volleyball, tennis, pickerball areas. Nice bicycle route as well. Wish more entertainment and interactive play areas like Chicago.
Beautiful park with a nice trail for walking, tennis courts, soccer field, water park, etc. One of my favorite area in Fort Smith.
Trail conditions & character
“Only downside is the number of restrooms in their location.”
“Food trucks were good, parking can be a bit tedious, but thankful the playground has canopies over most of the playground equipment.”
