We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Carolina Thread Trail Suspension Bridge yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Super cool spot and an easy hike”

Such a unique way to cross the state line! The hike from Nesbit Park is pretty easy, though it may be slick after a rain. Definitely worth your time to make the trip!

★★★★★ — Alyssa, , Mar 2024

Loved it! Although there was a boy on a bike that had no manners for the hikers

★★★★★ — Incognito , May 2021

This is such a nice place. We take all our out-of-state guests. It's a short easy hike. The woods are beautiful. We saw two owls in the trees when we were there last. Tons of mushrooms to identify. The kids (all ages) like it a lot

★★★★★ — Kathy , Jul 2023

We hiked here from Walnut Creek. It was quite a long hike for a group of 9 year old girls, but they did seem to have plenty of energy to run back and forth across the bridge when we arrived.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
