Absolutely beautiful trail Very woodsy and some areas are natural and not paved. Trail I walked was alongside a creek.
Lovely walk through the woods. Dad and I enjoyed the swinging bridge marking NC/SC state line. A little muddy in places today, especially the trailhead located at a neighborhood Waxhaw park. So very muddy I turned back, but Dad kept going (his shoes and pants paid the price).
My daughter and I had a great time exploring. Never found the bridge, but walked around for over 2hrs, got lost so was a fun adventure! We finally had to resort to walking on the road to find our car. I feel it would be nice if there were some signs posted on the trails.
Excellent and clean park! It's just that their bike trails are very confusing for the Carolina Thread trail. None of the trails connect lol.. very confusing, but we figured it out after a whole 2 hours!
