Confirmed from Cassidy Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly recreational area featuring a playground, swings, slides and a splash pad.

Beautiful park with play areas for kids, a pond with a pier to feed ducks, walking paths. Alot of wildlife.
Pleasant little park in Bogalusa. Lots of little trails & ponds for walking & watching the ducks or other wildlife. Covered pavillion with picnic benches. Trails have little plaques placed throughout that tell you about the different trees & other features of the area.
U can fish, walk, bbq, swim, let your kids play on the playground/splashpad! Its beautiful and my family LOVES Cassidy Park!
Lovely area for family "get togethers". Covered picnic/BBQ areas available. Local wildlife, walking trails, public restrooms and many other amenities. Children's playground area. Splash pad for children's summer cool off times.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
