Confirmed from Caswell Memorial State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Covering more than 250 acres along Stanislaus River, this park is home to many endangered species.

A lovely afternoon here at the California State park along the Stanislas River in Ripon, CA. USA. Serene and tranquil and just lovely is our visit here for the first time.
The trails here have everything we’ve been looking for: fully accessible to stroller, mostly flat, no steps, fully shaded, loop connected by several trails, wide enough for kids to run around, and beautiful tree tunnels. Kids have a good time here. Restroom is good with flushing toilet inside.
Beautiful park with a lot of picnic tables and places to hang out. The little beach would be perfect to spend the afternoon by the river. Lots of trails and side trails to walk through. Most areas had ample shade. Definitely recommend!
We visited to get outside before sunset. We visited during the dry season, so the smell is a little strong. Overall, the trail wasn’t crowded and it was a soothing walk

“Camp 🏕️ grounds & day use areas are fantastic 🤩 - wish there was more overflow parking 🅿️ for both the campground and day use areas; car fees are $10 dollars.”
“We did not bring our dog there due to a lot of cats that run free.”
“This flat walk is marred only by the aggressive mosquito population.”
