Confirmed from Cat Island Chain's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cat Island Chain
“Beautiful, peaceful spot to get away even if it's just for a quick moment like a coffee break or lunch.”
Launch Lineville road, fishing sucked, boated into Dead Horse bay, barely made it thru the cut, low tide. Tried fishing near Short Tail no better, NNW wind, decided to fish the Suamico River made up to County J... One fish catch and release for the day.
Parking is non existent. You have to park at the boat launch and walk over. Once you get there its super cool. Feels like youre doing something you shouldnt be.
This park is vast and would take a while to walk all the trails. The trails are nice and clean a beautiful place yo relax and walk/run or bike
