Confirmed from Sensiba State Wildlife Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Fantastic wildlife area with pleanty to do. Lots of trails. It is a pretty good sized park with plenty to do. Lots of very scenic forest areas and lots of walking/hiking areas throughout the park. Definitely worth a stop if you are looking for a good wildlife and scenic park.

Excellent short hike. Late August it was filled with butterflies and wildflowers. I did a little out and back by the dyke, I'm not sure if there's a loop but I do believe there's another path. It also has a really nice boardwalk.

One of my favorites in the Green Bay area, this 2.5M loop takes you through the woods, along the swamp, along Green Bay and then through a field. So many birds to see and so much nature to enjoy.

★★★★★ — Tom , Jul 2025

Overall a very nice trail, just wished it was completely cleared. There is a section that is covered in overgrowth so you can see where the trail is

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
