Definitely a highlight of Lake Champlain. I came here for a nice Saturday stroll in March. I will admit the constant breeze on the lake made it cold, but the views definitely made up for the discomfort. I would highly recommend a walk or bike ride down this causeway.
Beautiful land bridge / park. We visited on a Saturday in the mid-spring and there wasn’t much parking at the lot closest to the water, but we found a spot. Short walk through the woods up to the land bridge over Lake Champlain. It was absolutely gorgeous—perfect for biking, walking or running.
Omg spectacular! Sensational views of Lake Champlain. Park right in Airport Park in Colchester. It's free parking & there are restrooms. You'll have immediate access to the causeway. I was unaware 2/3 out the causeway breaks and a ferry is needed. There were no ferries runnjng at sunset. That's okay. It's about an 8.
One of the best bike rides I've ever done. The trail is beautiful and very well maintained. It was fairly busy when I was there, but the traffic moved quickly and there was plenty of air. The Bike Ferry was a very effective way to get across the gap in the Causeway.
