Confirmed from Cedar River Trail Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is the dog park that everyone who tries to take their dogs to Coulon should know about and go. Made for people and dogs. There are ramps and slow inclines for people who have trouble walking and for wheelchairs. There are benches to sit and rest.

Very nice park. One side is Cedar River and the other side is Boeing. The trail is very friend to toddlers and there is also a playground.

★★★★★ — Maggie , Nov 2021

Very nice park and trail. Planes were a bit loud but not disturbing! Great place for kids and pets

★★★★★ — Hello , Feb 2022

Fantastic park on the bank of Cedar river. There are plenty places with access to river and benches to enjoy to view. The sidewalk is easily half a mile long only meant for walking. I went in July and the water was calf height. You could literally cross the river.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
