Confirmed from Centennial Horse Park - MTB Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Centennial Horse Park - MTB Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (127 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“They have an especially beautiful wetlands area called Big Haynes Creek nature preserve.”

Great trail. A new section was added since the last time I was there. The only reason for 4 stars is that it's hard to follow the trail when you cross the road on the granite. Newbies should be careful because the trail is technical. It's very fun and has some gut punch climbs.

The mountain biking trails are top notch. I highly recommend the trails to anyone in the Atlanta area to check them out. Checkout my youtube channel theBidon for videos of the trails.

Nice park, very nice mtb trails. Easy layout, easy to navigate compared to other trails Ive done.

MTB trails could use some maintenance. Mostly XC style with a couple of flow section.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🌲 Natural surface / singletrack 6 mentions

“Just did a 3 hour race there, really technical but awesome fun, lots of Bridges and really good trails, they have bike wash and changing rooms.”
