Confirmed from Wheeler Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park offering a playground, picnic facilities, a tennis court, and trails.
What runners say about Wheeler Park
“The park is well maintained and clean and looks to be very safe.”
This is a nice walking & workout park, with numerous workout equipment. There is a walking trail, tennis courts, and playground for the little ones. Very clean park.
It's a nice place to walk. It's convenient for training and jogging. You can walk your dog. There is a playground, not a large one, with two complexes.
This is a well curated space. Today, we enjoyed pickleball, just a skip away from families playing in the sand, kids twirling on the play apparatus and people walking, jogging, and working out on the fitness wall. You can even do Frisbee Golf, too.
Very nice community park with plenty of amenities. Stopped in after an overnight at a local hotel, great place for a walk, workout, and other recreational sports. Plenty of parking, restrooms, benches and more. Really like the short disc course - fun lines, perfect for a couple of putters and a mid.
Trail conditions & character
“Great but need more bathrooms for men and women and clean.”
“Easy parking and nice bathrooms right beside it.”
