Confirmed from Costley Mill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large, 77-acre park with a waterfall pond and a picnic area, plus trails and a playground.
What runners say about Costley Mill Park
“There is also a beautiful river with waterfalls and some really cute and well-maintained old buildings to see.”
“It is such a loss that this beautiful place will not be open 7 days a week during the summer, although it is a part of parks and recreation.”
“It’s literally tucked away so it’s not crowded by any means and it’s all families.”
Went here with my husband for a relaxing morning walk. The waterfall is beautiful and the scenery is nice also. Lots of places to sit and enjoy nature. I gave 4 stars vs 5 because a lot of the bridges and crosswalks are blocked so we weren’t able to explore like we wanted to.
Beautiful park. Great place to walk, take photos, take a picnic and take the kids to play. I hope the water area will be open next summer for the kids to play in. I used to hang out here by the water when I was a teenager. That was 40 years ago. Lots has changed at the park since then.
Such a nice find... Serenity and peaceful aplenty here... Playground for the kids and a nice walking trail. Plenty of history at this 77 acre park... Beautiful welcome center and whimsical mock buildings made for movie sets as many major film projects and TV series were shot here.
Nice, intimate park that is great for walking dogs or a leisurely stroll w/ the kids or spouse. In one direction, there is a dam/waterfall. You can access it by lightly jumping over rocks in the calm stream. It is scenic, great for pondering or meditation.

“It has a playground, place to eat, beach, restrooms, and plenty of space.”
