Confirmed from Cerritos Park East (CPE)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lush park featuring a lit jogging track, multiple baseball diamonds, sand area, spray pool & more.

Cerritos Park East is truly a gem in the heart of Cerritos! This expansive 32-acre park offers something for everyone. The beautifully maintained baseball diamonds, basketball courts, tennis courts, and handball courts are perfect for sports enthusiasts.
This park is pretty big. It has a running track for sprinters and joggers. I visited for tennis. They have 4 to 5 courts with lights for night. You need to reserve to access these courts. The courts are pretty decent as well. Found a few cracks but overall was fine. This park is pretty busy at dusk.
One of our favorite local places. Kids played baseball league here but we visit often. Always feel safe, even at night. Neighbors seem to keep am eye out? Nice green track but also the 1 mile perimeter walkway with plenty of picnic benches and restrooms along the way.
This is suburban-style park, indicative of the Southern California style of city planning. Most noticeable are 3 baseball diamonds, tennis courts Handball and Basketball courts and very large open grass field. There is a playground, and paved walk path going around the park.
