Confirmed from Gridley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park featuring a basketball court and 2 playgrounds, plus picnic tables.
What runners say about Gridley Park
“Clean with a few exceptions if dog poop, please pick up after your pets.”
“A excellent & gorgeous small park that is a heavenly retreat!”
“A great place for a jog or stroll, I hope it's never rezoned as a commercial area, as it would be a shame to lose a local resource.”
“If you're looking for a quiet park for a nice stroll or place for the littles to play, this is a good spot.”
Quite large, almost-secluded park great for easy jogs, kids, and dogs to play. Instagram @CavapooBabyChewie
I love running here because it's never crowded. Usually there are a few people walking their dogs (or letting them run free) and a quick pickup bball game. There are two playground areas on opposite ends of the park.
The nearest local park to where I live, Gridley Park has been witness to many a school field trip, walk around the neighborhood with friends & other childhood time-wasting activities. A rectangular-shaped park, from Gridley Rd. to Pioneer Blvd.
This place is very beautiful and well maintained. The playgrounds here are very great for children (and for adults) My girlfriend and I went here to walk and it's great for walking/studying/chilling. Overall a great gem and I would recommend this park.

- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
