Beautiful trail! Only thing I didn't appreciate was some people don't leash their dogs, one unleashed dog came up to mine and when my dog went to sniff the other one snapped at him aggressively. The owner was so far back! I couldn't move until she got her dog, taking about how she didn't have a leash for him.
Very nice area and trail. Well marked and relatively easy. Can't wait to go back and hike it again.
This is a beautiful, relatively short trail that you can do as an out-and-back (if you decide to return the same way), or as a loop, returning using the alternate route. The alternate route goes at the bottom of the canyon, while the original route goes along the mountain slope.
Casual stroll in the woods, many people around so dont come here for solitude. Great way to access the Windsor trail from down low. Some good bird watching in the morning. It was a pleasant early morning stroll.
