Confirmed from Chapman Mountain Trail Entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Chapman Mountain Trail Entrance
Monday mid morning and I had the place to myself! Trails are well marked, pavilion is still a work in progress, as is the disk golf course. Looking forward to more trails opening here!
Fairly new place. Finding it from off highway is difficult due to no signs. Entrance road is right past the guard rail. However, once on property a good hike. Trail is marked well.
Nice trails and bird watching blind around a water feature that makes for nice photo opportunities.
The trails are pretty flat and under trees, so it's a bit cooler to walk. The waterfall is dry unless there has been a recent rain. There is an observation bird blind so you can watch them at a small drinking spring.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
