Confirmed from Chelsea Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Chelsea Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (164 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“Sometimes people bring dogs, which isn't a huge problem as long as it stays clean and doesn't disrupt scheduled events or kids playing.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“It's located next to 135th, but it's below the street so the noise isn't bad, and it's tucked into the adjacent neighborhood which is pretty quiet.”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 3 mentions

“Great place to get out and stretch, walk the dog, or play with your remote controlled toys!”

This is a very beautiful park in Burien. Currently they are doing construction on the street right outside of it but it is still in use. There is a playground softball fields and more. It is not a dog park but there is lots of room for a well behaved dog to run around.

I love to come to this park ass always can run with my Lucas and bella in the morning afternoon and night time I can run with them 30 30 minutes every every section and I love it cuz the baseball field that they have over there is nice and smooth grass :-D

★★★★★ — Edgar , Apr 2018

Good open field with baseball diamond and playground amd picnic tables up on the hill. It's located next to 135th, but it's below the street so the noise isn't bad, and it's tucked into the adjacent neighborhood which is pretty quiet. Often in use, but nice place to walk or play.

★★★★☆ — Julien , Dec 2023

Nice little park. Playground with swings and slides. Open green area for running around, playing catch, whatevs. Hills for sledding when it snows. A path to walk around. Birds to feed. Sometimes people let their dogs run around off leash on the green, but it's pretty far from the playground.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
