Do yourself a favor and visit Seahurst Park this summer. Bring the whole family! Parking is tight, but there ARE spaces in the upper and sometimes the lower lot--and it's free! This is a wonderful beach--kids, dogs, sea birds, and even a cat or two sometimes! I saw 2 kites being flown last time I was there!
Beautiful beach park in Burien. Great place to enjoy picnics and go for a walk. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak times, but even if you have to walk down from the upper parking lots, it's worth it.
Seahurst Park is a beautiful, expansive treasure for South King County residents who are looking for a beautiful beach, free parking*, reservable picnic shelters, snack shack, and play equipment.
Seahurst Park is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The combination of forest trails, restored beach, and breathtaking views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains makes it feel like a hidden retreat right outside the city.
