Confirmed from Seahurst Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“With clean facilities, shaded areas, and a peaceful atmosphere, Seahurst Beach is an ideal place for a relaxing, family-friendly day out.”

Do yourself a favor and visit Seahurst Park this summer. Bring the whole family! Parking is tight, but there ARE spaces in the upper and sometimes the lower lot--and it's free! This is a wonderful beach--kids, dogs, sea birds, and even a cat or two sometimes! I saw 2 kites being flown last time I was there!

Beautiful beach park in Burien. Great place to enjoy picnics and go for a walk. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak times, but even if you have to walk down from the upper parking lots, it's worth it.

Seahurst Park is a beautiful, expansive treasure for South King County residents who are looking for a beautiful beach, free parking*, reservable picnic shelters, snack shack, and play equipment.

★★★★☆ — Krystal , Jul 2024

Seahurst Park is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The combination of forest trails, restored beach, and breathtaking views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains makes it feel like a hidden retreat right outside the city.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 22 mentions

“There are restrooms next to the beach, the water faucet didn't work on the day we visited Very nice view from the beach with bunch of wood logs make it more naturally.”

  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
