Confirmed from Cherry Creek Hike/Bike Path's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Maintained trail for cycling and walking, featuring some murals and rapid spots.
What runners say about Cherry Creek Hike/Bike Path
it's in a different way for me to travel except the old guys that ride 9 million miles an hour don't stop for old ladies or folks carrying their babies or anything else for that matter Very similar to a lot of folks driving skills here so just be careful of the old men going 90
A green oasis, a gem in the heart of the city! Lots of cool murals up on the trail walls, starting at Confluence Park through central Denver. Some encampments of people experiencing homelessness, etc., but safe.
Love this path in Denver. From confluence park all the way to Cherry Creek reservoir. Well maintained but on nice days it can be very busy
Great path for biking and walking. Definitely recommend going. Especially if you are trying to get or stay in shape.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
