Confirmed from Cherry Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space, a 1.5-mile trail, picnic areas & fields, including 5 baseball diamonds, on 68 acres.
What runners say about Cherry Park
“Plenty of room, super clean bathrooms, nice facilities, and super easy parking right at the playground.”
“I love that it's got nice shade trees all around it, so the playground doesn't get too hot.”
“It's a park where all ages and races can come together to enjoy nature.”
My kid loves coming to this playground. Especially with it's "forest" like style & design. It looks pretty cool (especially if you're a kid). There are "leaves" to climb, & "trees" with steps, a "mushroom" that kids can spin on, & spider web like netting for kids to climb on (almost like they are the spider).
What a wonderful park, one of Rock Hill's finest free attractions with a little bit of everything for everyone. It features a large playground area with different sectioms optional with safe equipment for each age group!
This is a great park. There's a huge playground, climbing web, swings, a toddler area, all under the rubber mat flooring. There's a lot of shade from the trees around, which is great on hot days. They have public restrooms and a water fountain. There's a nice paved hiking trail around the park.
Absolutely loved it here!! Great 1.5mi loop on the perimeter of the park all under a canopy of trees. Clean restrooms and tons of parking.
Trail conditions & character
