Confirmed from Childsbury Towne Heritage Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring wildlife and a dock, suitable for quiet contemplation.
What runners say about Childsbury Towne Heritage Preserve
“The photographer was able to capture from very picturesque scenes with nice background views.”
“Very quiet and off the beaten path.”
Neat piece of preserved colonial history! There's a really short walking path down to the river and you can see the church and graveyard through the fence. Is it worth it to make the drive to see this alone? Probably not. But if you're in the area and making a day of it, it's a cool stop.
It's not worth a long drive to get to. It's all fenced up with not trespassing signs so you can only read a bulletin board that tells you about it. You can't walk around or anything. Just stand by signs and look through the fence
Very quiet and off the beaten path...just wish they would allow visitors into the chapel. Tons of history in this place. Love the story of Little Mistress Chicken.
