We enjoyed our visit to the park. I took my 7 year old and she enjoyed looking at the exhibits in the museum and walking on the boardwalk. We saw a black snake and several turtles on our walk. At the end of the day she enjoyed playing on the playground there as well. We spent about 2 hours there.
Old Santee canal park was Absolutely breathtaking! We loved the beautiful trails and loved seeing turtles, frogs and lizards galore It's definitely a Kid friendly hike (not all stroller friendly, as there are staircases to walk up and down) This is definitely one we will do a lot more!
This is a really awesome find. They have a house where Lord Colleton lived in the early 16 to 1700s. There is also a fort hidden in the woods. Lots of trails for hiking and right on the upper Cooper River. Great place for picnics and events.
A little hidden gem tucked away in Moncks Corner. We found it accidentally during covid times when we were going stir crazy and needed to get away without going too far from home. At first we only knew about their walking trails. They're really fun and have varying levels of style.
