Confirmed from Chippewa Creek Gorge Scenic Overlook's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Waterfall and hiking location by a creek and the Chippewa River, with scenic views from a deck overlook.
What runners say about Chippewa Creek Gorge Scenic Overlook
“When in search of a scenic trail to hike, I find new areas to explore and venture from there.”
Great place to day hike. Plenty of hiking and bridal trails to explore. Par course on the AP trail. There is even a section for orienteering. They did however remove some of the port-a-potties. Restroom can be found at the Nature center. Completed the new extension of the Gorge Loop.
Overall short walk to a very nice and fun waterfall area. Not too many barriers to keep you from respectfully enjoying a beautiful area.
You could go every week for a year and still never run out of paths to take. It got quite hot so we opted for the 1.3 mile loop!
Beautiful place .. great to get in touch w nature and do some hiking/walking.
