Confirmed from Christiansburg Huckleberry Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Christiansburg Huckleberry Park
“Few covered tables one side of playground to watch kiddos then the other side of the very clean and nice bathrooms (with changing tables) there’s a whole picnic shelter.”
“It features a nice playground, really cool technology feature in the athletic area, pavilions with great views, and 4 full size recreational fields!”
“There are so many fun play areas and activities for kids of all ages, and everything feels clean, spacious, and well maintained.”
First time at the park this morning and there were quite a few people walking, using the trails, the dog park, and the playground area. Parking may be tight at the moment if there’s an event going on as there’s also a huge ball field at the top of the park. There’s several places to eat at picnic benches.
This is the best park the kids and I have ever been to. It is up a little bit of a hill, away from traffic, and you're surrounded by nature. Very nice playing equipment, clean and activities at this park I've never seen before. We will definitely be back
What a cool new park! I love the shelter on top of the hill. It is a beautiful spot and well laid out. Way to go Christiansburg!
Very new park with lots of options: a great playgrounds with equipment for the youngest through adult conditioning an a popular obstacle course type area, ball fields dog park, trails, and very nice picnic shelters.
