Confirmed from Circle Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“This is a good place to have a picnic in the shade in the middle of downtown Fruita.”

Fruita is real dinosaurs country, yes they did roam the earth around Fruita in the era time BC,there are excavation trails that lead to dinosaurs bones sites!

A beautiful park and a quintessential symbol of the city of Fruita - you really can't give anyone directions without referencing "the circle". I love being able to walk or ride my bike through Circle Park in the warm seasons and seeing it beautifully decorated for Christmas every winter, with Grreta the Dinosaur…

Nice place to walk around with your dog they have doggy cleanup bags and water fountain. Nice large gazebo with benches and seating along the walkway also a couple of picnic tables and you can look at the large T-Rex and carved paragren falcon and get a good look at what's around you. For a roundabout pretty relaxing.

Don't take toddlers that like to run from you. It's in the middle of the traffic circle with no barriers. That never happened to me btw :D Just trying to warn those that have that issue. It's nice when there's a downtown event and everything is blocked off. Good grass and trees.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
