Confirmed from City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean park for kids with a playground and a gazebo.
What runners say about City Park
“Would have been lovely to have more shade in the late afternoon near the playground, only shade was near the little merry-go-round.”
This is a sweet small community park with a focus on the arts and history. I've seen outdoor concerts, weddings and parties at the gazebo. There is fun play equipment for the kids and in the center of the park is a historical log cabin that they have just installed a ramp up to the porch.
Ottawa City Park has a playground area for the little.kiddies to run around. Plenty seating benches to sit & enjoy the outdoors. Free WiFi access available. Dietrich cabin is open at various times thru the year.
We enjoy walking down for the City Band concerts in the summer! The Dietrich cabin is also a great place to visit and learn about history, but is only open sometimes.
Nice little park. Historic building on site. Gazebo in the center of the park with nearby playgrounds. Lots of grass area for walking.
