Confirmed from Civic Center Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Civic Center Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (832 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Took my granddaughter she had so much fun play ground big clean playing in the splash pad for free lol was so nice Madie loved it people haven picnics will take her back absolutely”

Brand new! Super nice! Super cute! Very sunny, the trees they planted are small, so they're not big enough to provide shade yet. Right next to the awesome library.

★★★★★ — Amber , Aug 2025

Visited to let the kids get some activity in and run around. Playscape was next to a shaded area, and there were bathrooms nearby. Sledding hill was near enough the play area that the older and younger kids could both play and I could watch them both.

★★★★☆ — Melody , May 2023

Our favorite park. They have Splash Pad, 3 playgrounds, walking trail, soccer fields, sandbox, climbing wall, slides, dog park, and skatepark. The restrooms are clean. They even have little library box and soda machines.

★★★★★ — Peisli , Oct 2018

Such a nice outdoor place for a jog. Nice trails and the grass is always maintained nicely. There's also a new parking lot and sidewalk going down the main driveway

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
