Confirmed from Fountain Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park features a playground, a splash pad and baseball fields.
What runners say about Fountain Park
“Fun, well maintained playground that my children love to call "the castle playground".”
I'm glad I finally decided to go here. There is a library, historical town, splash pad, playground, tennis court, baseball fields, and a walking trail. We came for the splash pad today and it was perfect. Clean. Not crowded. We'll definitely be back. Update ..could use better upkeep.
What a great park. Beautiful scenery. Nice place to take a walk. Views are amazing.
Love the park...has so much for the kids to play on and keeps then in a safe area for us parents to keep an eye on them. There's a caboose to check out...which has been there since I was a kid lol. Baseball diamonds and tennis courts are adjacent to the park as well.
There's alot to do here for kids. And there are historical buildings for sight seeing. There is a bike path that we walk as well. Overall, a nice pleasant place for family time.
Trail conditions & character
“The Flat Rock Library is right next to it, making it a nice stop after playing to wind down with some reading.”
“There are bathrooms near the splash pad at the tennis court in case they are needed or for changing clothes, but they aren't in the best shape.”
