Confirmed from Claremont Wilderness Loop Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Claremont Wilderness Loop Trail Head
“wild flowers were blooming everywhere and the views of the mountians were just stunning, we stopped like every 5 min to take pics.”
A great hiking spot! The parking is $10 dollars. Be sure to tap your car license plate correctly. After that on to the hike. Since it is a loop, it really doesn't matter which side one picks. The steep and uphill amount is pretty much the same at both sides of the loop. The whole is 5 miles in total.
The trail is very well maintained. But the parking fee is always a rip off. There's always one parking machine broken And the only available one does not have any instructions, and it takes you straight to pay for 4hrs( $9). There's no way to reduce or increase that time.
This hike was amazing. It kicks your butt, but honestly a great workout. The scenery is so beautiful. You have to try at least once.
totally didnt expect to be this impressed. we came on a weekday morning and it was already busy but not overcrowded which was perfect. wild flowers were blooming everywhere and the views of the mountians were just stunning, we stopped like every 5 min to take pics.
