Confirmed from Thompson Creek Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Thompson Creek Trailhead
Great place to start walking, running, and biking ..mountain trails connect.
Thompson Creek Trail in Claremont, California is one of the easiest and most family-friendly walking trails in the Inland Empire. This paved trail is perfect for casual walks, stroller-friendly outings, jogging, or biking with the kids. It’s clean, safe, and surrounded by beautiful foothill and mountain views.
Awesome place to get your steps in while enjoying the sights and smells of nature. I tried this trail for the first time and loved it. It's easy and you can choose whether to run, walk or (e)bike it. Just FYI, I parked on Mountain and started there. The distance from Mountain to Mills is 1.6 miles (3.2 round trip).
A very good place to walk, run, ride your bike, or your horse. It can get busy on the trail. Mid trail is Higgenbothom Park with restrooms, water fountains, and playground. This trail provides access to a variety of other trails; such as the Claremont Loop.
