Confirmed from Claremore Lake's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Enjoyed fishing here. It has new rocks on the dam. It has 2 uncovered fishing docks and a covered fishing dock you can fish at for a fee. There are many places to fish and some nice trails. There is a splash pad.

★★★★★ — Dan , Jan 2023

It is scenic and quite lovely. There are several parks for kids to play on around the lake. A dock to fish from as well. The donkeys were on the other side of the lake. They were cute to look at if you'd like to say "hi" from the fence. Don't pet, just look, they are on private property.

★★★★★ — Gabriela , Mar 2025

This is a beautiful lake with plenty of fish in it. There are picnic tables throughout the park. Grills in areas. Playground. Splash pad. Walking trail. Docs that you can fish from. And plenty of spots for you to be close to the water and have your family time in peace and quiet.

★★★★★ — Ainsleigh , Sep 2025

Beautiful park. I have our dogs with me and they are enjoying the water. Great for dog walking, just walking, picnics. Fishing can be done all around the whole lake.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
