Confirmed from Claremore Mountain Bike Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Claremore Mountain Bike Trails

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (204 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Small gravel parking lot with a beat up portapotty that has a sagging floor and no latch but it is kept pretty clean.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“The trail markings are a bit hard to follow at times, and the parking lot had no map posted when I rode there, but the area is scenic and enjoyable.”

Great trails! The first section (sawtooth) is easy & flowy. When you cross the dam into the next 2 sections be prepared! Starts getting technical with off camber rocks, short steep climbs & some low overhead rocky walls! But quite fun! They have added a serious jump line with 2 runs.

Fantastic place to ride! The trails are designed well and there’s a little bit of everything for all types of riding. I prefer riding rocky technical terrain and there’s plenty here to enjoy. There’s a nice flow to most of the trails and there’s even a jump line section now. Highly recommended!

We had stopped here on suggestion from our friend on our way back from Angel Fire Mt Bike Park in NM… new favorite! Fast flowy trail’s with the perfect amount of tech! I can’t say enough about the jump lines! The team was there working on the whale tail - nice!

Very great scenery and wildlife. Nice walk with distinctly marked trails, and very easy as well. Most loops take 30-45 minutes if walked briskly, about an hour or a little more if walking slowly, so it's perfect for a quick morning hike, and at this time of year there are very few ticks to worry about.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“Great MTB trail system, now with over 10+ miles of varying skill level single track, well thought out, master planned and an absolute blast to ride, kudos to the trail boss.”
