This is a phenomenal place to visit away from the Strip when visiting Las Vegas. It has well maintained trails through cottonwood groves, along small streams, and passes by numerous ponds with ducks and other aquatic birds. It is non touristy and a great, quiet place to escape Las Vegas Boulevard.
Amazing place to visit. A hidden gem in the city. Everything was so nature and more nature. The Wetlands is a great place to walk and have some fun with the kids. They have events throughout the month for a low fees or no fees for some events. They have free parking.
This is a great place for birders, walkers runners but not cyclists. They don't allow bikes or dogs because of the sensitive nature of the wildlife in the park. But there's so much to see there. The best feature is the Weir Bridge. It's about 7/10 of a mile from The visitor center.
I had such a peaceful and enjoyable time at Clark County Wetlands Park! There were so many different animal species to see, which made the whole experience feel exciting and unique. From birds to other wildlife, there was always something interesting to spot along the trails.
