Confirmed from Clemson Experimental Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Clemson Experimental Forest
“It was quiet, calming and peaceful.”
About a 10-15 minute drive from campus, it was on the lake beautiful views, trails close to the water. Cool old cemetery out there too. They do controlled burns out there too, so there is aa lot of visibility. Very cool views of Clemson campus since its at a higher elevation. Highly recommend!
The Clemson experimental forest was a great place to explore . It was quiet, calming and peaceful. The trail was a great place to enjoy nature get away from the classroom.
This place is incredible for mountain biking, I went all around today and eventually hit the Issaqueena trail around the lake with fog all around and it was worth the trip from Greenville. I was in town anyway but regardless it is a must visit for outdoor enthusiasts.
Great place to get out and explore! There are several different plant communities to check out, also you can hike, bike, and even horseback ride the miles of trails that are out there.

“Came on a Friday and took the hardwood loop and didn’t realize there are more trails to Isaqueena Dam!”
