Confirmed from Waldrop Stone Falls' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Hiking locale featuring a serene, small waterfall amid steep trails (though there are easier parts, too).

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Nice little walk with some sun on the way from the parking area to the first fork in the trail, I took the path to the right for a shady walk to the waterfall.”

Went yesterday. We are from out of town and wanted a short hike with a view. Parking is a in gravel lot across from some apartments. Hike should take no more than 30 minutes one way IF you take the right at the fork in clay path. Trail isn't marked but its worn enough to know which way to go.

It was a great waterfall!!!! The parking entrance was not marked, so if you are driving fast, you might miss it. As you're walking, you can go the long way to get to the waterfall. At the fork in the road, there's a trail to the right, which is the short way to the waterfall. Happy hiking!!

Nice little walk with some sun on the way from the parking area to the first fork in the trail, I took the path to the right for a shady walk to the waterfall. Bit of a climb on the way in, even more so on the way out.

Nice place for a hike with the family and dogs. Some areas did get a bit narrow and difficult by the falls. Nice trails though! Parking is not marked, we passed it and had to turn around.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
