We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of R.C Edwards Meadow Project yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Decent hike both in length and workout. Not really difficult overall. There are a couple loops, I did the one that took you to a pond. Trails are well marked but you can find yourself out on the hwy instead of back to the entrance if you turn wrong on the old logging roads.

One of my favorite places to go and "escape!" I run here often, and even take family members here for an easy hike to a nice, little waterfall. In the meadow, there are different plaques around a nature trail that tell you about different types if species of plants and animals.

I hiked this trail with my German Shepherd. There is minimal parking so you are parking on the side of the road. Parking is free. The trails were well marked. The waterfall was small, but very beautiful. The trail does go directly to the water as well. It was very nice.

Easy parking, Nice and defined trail. Educational. Great little adventure with the kids.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
