Confirmed from Cliff Run Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cliff Run Preserve
“The trails are well maintained, it has a floating boardwalk and it is also very scenic with rock formations and a stream that makes it's way through the preserve.”
Its about a mile hike to get to the floating boardwalk. Its a different trail (about another mile) back.
Definitely an enjoyable hike! Be sure to give yourself lots of daylight to take in the scenery!
Great place to hike. Trails are rated moderate but overall nothing too bad.
This is a fabulous new Arc of Appalachia property! Parking lot is small so park carefully & respectfully and the walk down to begin the trail is a little steep but it's totally worth it.
