Confirmed from Clinton River Park North's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil, wooded area & geocaching destination with paved pathways linking to a rail-trail system.
What runners say about Clinton River Park North
“Tons of wooded paths to take, beautiful views of the river, close walk to the nature center, and even a playground for my kids.”
It's very huge and awesome park they have tons of things to do. They could use some sitting areas and grills maybe but other then that this place has everything to do.
This is by far one of my favorite nature parks in the area. Tons of wooded paths to take, beautiful views of the river, close walk to the nature center, and even a playground for my kids. The only downfall is the lack of bathrooms.
Great bike paths. Some debris from high water can be encountered under bridges and low spots. Otherwise great
Well kept trails make this a great place to walk, run, or bike. Love seeing nature here too!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
