Confirmed from Colbert Alloys Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Camping facility featuring gravel pads, picnic tables and hookups for RVs, plus fishing and kayaking.
What runners say about Colbert Alloys Park
“Long gravel pads, full service 50A hookups clean, quiet, and close to baot ramp.”
“Very quiet place, the park is beautiful, has trails, small playground, fishing, boating, tent camping.”
“Quiet park not far from Florence Not a lot for kids to do besides a small playground but our granddaughters still had a great time.”
Colbert Alloys is a very natural & beautiful park for RVers! As full time RVers we have called it home for a few months now, so we’ve gotten to know it well! They have concrete & gravel RV sights with full hook-ups & firepits. WiFi is available, but can be patchy.
Great affordable county park. Manager was helpful with local suggestions. Nice walking trails. Quiet park with full hookups. Would absolutely stay again.
Quiet park not far from Florence Not a lot for kids to do besides a small playground but our granddaughters still had a great time. Looks to have kayak rentals, fishing, a couple walking trails and a pretty decent archery range. Full hookup and RV sites are fairly level but very manageable to get in.
Friendly folks. Beautiful pull-through site. Full-hook-ups. A hidden gem. Great walking paths by and along the river. Wish all RV Parks were like this - rustic yet wellmaintained and friendly. Good WiFi but only 5 TV stations on antenna.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceCrushed gravel — the rail-trail classic: softer than asphalt, still smooth enough for tempo work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
