Confirmed from Coldwater Canyon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful canyon park offering hillside hiking trails with panoramic views of the city & mountains.
What runners say about Coldwater Canyon Park
“Beautiful paths with a neighborhood vibe when entering the paved roads amidst the houses.”
“So please don't invite me for a hike or even to the beach most days but, this little area of conservation is peaceful during the early morning.”
Coldwater Canyon Park is such a stunning spot for a hike! There are some tricky inclines that add a bit of a challenge, but overall, it’s not too intense. One thing to note is that there aren’t signs everywhere, so it can be a little confusing to navigate—but honestly, that just makes it feel more adventurous!
First thing. Google maps won't take you to the correct location. The entrance is on the fork between Mulholland drive and coldwater canyon drive. Nice hiking trail. It reminds me of Runyon canyon but without the crowds. Has lots of different path. Some path are wide and some narrow.
Beautiful place to go for a walk! Amazing sunset! I love all the beautiful places to sit and look out over the horizon. You can hear the birds and you can also hear people talking on the other trails below which is kind of interesting.
Excellent park/trails just down the road. Not crowded with people. Great views.
