Confirmed from Coleman Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I went to Coleman Hill Park for the first time as a small business owner/ henna artist/designer & entrepreneur @prachihennaart And it was for a press conference for Macon's greatest Main Street in America award ceremony. I had a blast. It's a great Park. It's definitely a workout though.

★★★★★ — Nurse , May 2024

Coleman Hill is picturesque and a challenging walkabout with many sets of steps and trails. My fiance picked a beautiful weather day for us to walk for about two hours. This wound up being the prelude to a marvelous dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse.

It's a nice place to sit and have a picnic or a causal peacefully date in the early or late hours of the day. Beautiful view of the whole city. For workout enthsiasit run up the hill. It'll get you in shape that's for sure.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 16 mentions

“The open space makes for wonderful views of downtown Macon's skyline and has always been a favorite of mine for viewing the city.”
