Confirmed from Washington Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Lovely park, very serene and uplifting. Loved the architecture and waterfalls. Surprisingly was empty when I came by. Beautiful layout and nice walking area to see the park. Plenty of seating and shade and a nice walking area. It is dog friendly with poop station bags. Enjoyed the experience.

A lil hidden gem for photography. located near downtown Macon and is usually very serene. Never any large crowds so make a wonderful place to walk pets and bring kids to be one with nature.

We love this park, we cal it the water-park. Its tucked into a neighborhood downtown, almost like secret. It's very small but shaded and just beautiful, extremely relaxing. Great place for weddings, photo shoots, picnics or just plain chilling on hot days.

★★★★★ — Brenda , Jun 2022

I love this historic park but it's definitely run down lately and a shadow of its former self...like most of Macon. The fountain that runs through the park was dry and many stones were broken out. I wish I could've seen it back in the day!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
