What runners say about College Rock Park
I climbed that rock just about every day until I was ten and we moved away, in 1960. My dad donated it to the town of Hopkinton. Who knew it would become a mecca for climbers! I'm glad it turned out this way. Haven't been back in many years. I hope the brook is still running.
This is an excellent spot that connects to a larger through trail network. It appears hidden in plain sight or not very well known or foot trafficked. The college rock itself is highly legit and close to the front.
Swing by on the weekend if it's a nice day and go for a walk! If you're interested in climbing say hi to any of the people on the wall and they will be sure to tell you all about it. Great trail system, great crag, 10/10, that's a review
My daughter's Girl scout troop went snowshoeing today! Beautiful woods, nice wide paths and some (limited) off street parking.
