Confirmed from Colonie Town Park Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Path for biking, running and strolling alongside the Mohawk River.

“Pleasantly peaceful place to take children and pets.”
One of my favorite trails. Always well maintained and a beautiful view of the trees, also easily accessible with several different parking areas. Different parts of the park go over to the river with a playground, covered picnic areas and even a covered bridge to walk or drive thru. I walk here almost daily! Love it!
Pretty nice and safe place to take a walk or ride a bike, skateboard or roller skate. Pleasantly peaceful place to take children and pets. The only issue is that people should make sure to pick up after their pets after they poop!
My grandson & I biked down to go under the Twin Bridges. Just a quick out & back. Trail was not flat as expected.
This place is close to my heart and I have been going here since I was a child. Great for a relaxing stay by the Mohawk River to think, or to rent a pavilion and hold a family reunion. Colonie town park has wooded nature trails, tennis courts, a pool, a playground, picnic tables, and a fantastic view of the river!
