Confirmed from Cooper Creek County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a large open area with a grill by a river, plus horse trails and walking paths.
What runners say about Cooper Creek County Park
“Saw lots of other walkers enjoying our beautiful Michigan weather and nice trails.”
Beautiful trails in the woods, reminded me of old logging roads in the UP. Walked for at least an hour and didn’t go on all the loops. There’s no map and the trail markers are not consistent but it’s not too hard to navigate if the sun is out and you know where the road is.
Nicely groomed trails, not very many miles of trails but you are able to make several loops around and turn it into a well worth day in the saddle. We rode there during hunting season because there is no hunting and felt very safe. Saw lots of other walkers enjoying our beautiful Michigan weather and nice trails.....
Beautiful park, lots of different trails. It's even cool that it's a horse trail as well. Seen one of the loudest woodpeckers in the area. Will be coming back more frequently.
Very rustic, woods/forest type park. Dirt trails through woods along creek. Bring the bug spray. Quiet.
