Confirmed from Cooper River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Incredibly beautiful and well maintained”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

I usually walked around the big lake and get a good 4 miles. You can walk on the sidewalks but it’s quite noisy with traffic going. Or you can walk close to the lake and get a little bit away from the road. The lake is beautiful with abundant wildlife, and you even get to see Phillydelphia skyline in a sunny day.

A nice place to either chill parked by the lake or be active walking or running the trail or the new track. There are a lot of Canadian Geese at the park, which means a lot of their droppings if you walk on the grassy parts of the park.

Wonderful park with an almost 4 mile walkway around a section or Cooper River. Good place to walk, run (track), bike ride, picnic, or just sit and read - even a new bocci court (have to bring your oun balls) Cooper River Yacht Club has wonderful sailing classes & across the river is the rowing facility.

Came here to watch rowing/crew races. Very long trail to walk. The “boathouse” is lovely. It’s the Camden Commissioner’s Office, clearly it’s been remodeled and it shows. The desk agent was not exactly friendly, meaning he didn’t greet us, but worse has happened. The whole area is pretty nice, just can be crowded.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
