Confirmed from Cooper River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Path-lined park for running and leisurely strolls, with trails, wildlife and picnic tables.
What runners say about Cooper River Park
“It's typically quiet, and if you walk through early or late enough you usually can see deer.”
Please don't confuse this with the other park labeled....Cooper River Park that is literally right next to this one. There are considerable differences. First when the geese poop all over the ground on this side of Grove Street, the feces tend to be more off the path and hidden. It's like they know to be more discreet.
With warmer weather finally here, my dog and I skip out during lunch sometimes to get air here. We both love the trails and the gorgeous scenery! Everyone is always friendly and what’s better than nature!
Great place for a hike...I NEED to be able to enjoy some sort of body of water...this gives me my fix without having to travel very far at all.
Perfect park in every way - right amount of paths/length for working out -both dirt and paved routes - awesome views of the river - even rubberized tracks and basketball at the far end - loops and straightaways - have a blast by staying in shape
