Confirmed from Cormier Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cormier Woods
“The paths are well maintained and marked.”
“lots of lovely features to take in on each trail as well, a quiet calm walk for any who are interested.”
Great place to walk on single trails with your dog. Trails are well kept. Trails on ether side of the road.
Several different trails to choose from all very well blazed and described on the map at the trail head. lots of lovely features to take in on each trail as well, a quiet calm walk for any who are interested. The yellow trail especially has some feral blueberry fields (which we delicious)
I love these trails. They are not well-marked, but the map is accurate and there are maps posted at junctions on the trails. The farmstead the trails go through is beautiful.
Well kept, clear paths. Not too hard at all for myself and my 5yo, who completed the red/blue/yellow 2.5mi path without stopping.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
