Trailhead and parking lot is great. Road up is well maintained. Hiked to Miller Peak via crest trail with my 10 y.o. daughter and made it to the summit. We picked a day it was a high of 70 in Sierra Vista. Like many trails in AZ bring the sunscreen. Loved the variance of this trail.
This place was so beautiful!! It has many well-defined trails that vary in difficulty. However, on the way to the peak there are a lot of benches and places to stop and rest if you get winded. Beautiful views! We took our one year old and he loved it! Very good for children.
This is a great little National Monument to visit. Its easy to get to from Tucson if you happen to be in the area. Some of the views are fantastic, especially from Coronado Peak Trail. There is a walk up to an overlook, from which you can see the Mexican border extending for miles in both directions.
This is a rugged area, challenging ride up a mountain ( have a good vehicle and don't expect guard rails!), very nice mountain top picnic area, restrooms, info signs. Lots of hiking we will return to another day. Long ride on rutted dirt roads to Parker Lake, Sonoita, or even Nogalis.
